A state-of-the-art indoor training facility for local Little League and high school teams has opened at the Reston Station mixed-use development on the Silver Line in Virginia. Developer Comstock Holdings worked with Bradley Baseball Academia to design and construct the 6,000-square-foot facility, called Reston Bullpen at Reston Station. Fairfax County Board Adopts Trust Policy About Residents’ Immigrant Status

Fairfax County's Board of Supervisors approved in a vote of 9-to1, the Public Trust and Confidentiality Policy (Trust Policy) introduced as a Board Matter on Jan. 26 by Chairman Jeffrey C. McKay and co-sponsored by Supervisors Dalia A. Palchik (D-Providence) and John W. Foust (D-Dranesville). The Trust Policy prohibits County employees, government agencies, and departments, including the police, from voluntarily sharing information or cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials. Reston Station To Have A Virtual Shark Tank

Reston Station, one of the biggest mixed-use developments along the Silver Line in Northern Virginia, is upping its public art game — and that includes a huge aquarium filled with sharks. Not real ones though. Reston Station developer Comstock Holdings Company recently installed a SiliconCore LED digital screen at the center of Reston Metro Plaza. In addition to the 3D aquarium, it displays Google Doodles' digital art, cityscape and landscape flyovers, and commuter information, as well as advertising.Continue reading

Kreative Technologies To Invest $1.5 million In Its Fairfax Headquarters

Fairfax, Virginia-based IT contractor Kreative Technologies will invest $1.5 million to expand its year-old headquarters and quintuple its current workforce of 67, with almost 300 additional hires. Kreative Technologies is a software development, integration, and cybersecurity contractor with commercial and government contractors, focused on health care, finance and defense.
